Typically months or even years of planning will go into a home purchase decision. A retirement home, a home for your kids to move into after graduating, your first home as husband and wife, a new home due to a job in a new city; regardless of the reason you’re purchasing a home, the right buyer’s agent can help!
Allow me to guide you in the process, help you set a budget and find the home of your dreams; regardless of which stage of your life you are in. I am a member of the Flint Hills Association of Realtors in Kansas and service several cities and towns including Manhattan, Wamego, Junction City, Clay Center, St. George and many more within Clay County, Dickinson County, Geary County, Marshall County, Pottawatomie County, Riley County, Wabaunsee County, and Washington County.
Buying a home can be an overwhelming process. From financing to negotiating to closing, there are a lot of moving pieces that can leave home buyers bewildered. Here are some of the key areas I will guide you through as your agent.
Whether we meet for coffee or drinks, at my office or over the phone, we’ll start your search by determining your needs/wants in your home. I’ll explain my duties and responsibilities as your Buyer’s Agent, I’ll walk you through the entire home buying process and we’ll talk about financing options.
As your agent, I can recommend several lenders with great loan products and are local to the Manhattan, KS area. You’ll work with a lender of your choice to get prequalified.
This part is where it gets fun! I’ll get you set up on a search and alert you when there are new listings available and we will set up showings when you find some that interest you. If you are moving from out of state, no worries! I will preview properties on your behalf and send you virtual tours.
As your Buyer’s Agent, I will present all information and advise you on the best offer to make on the home you love. I’ll guide and advise you through negotiations, inspections, and I’ll be in touch with your lender to ensure this process is as smooth as possible.
Admittedly, there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes in between getting through inspections and officially closing on your new home with your lender, your buyer’s agent, the listing agent, and the title company. But I will keep you informed at every step!
